The Great Khali
From: India
Wt: 420 lbs
WWE Debut: April 7th, 2006
Signature Moves: Punjabi Plunge; Khali Vise Grip
Standing in at over 7' tall, and weighing 420 pounds, you would expect the Punjabi Playboy to be quite the imposing Superstar. And he is! A former World Heavyweight Champion, The Great Khali debuted on SmackDown, along with his manager, Daivari, taking out the legendary Undertaker, on more than one occasion. He would continue to dominate the Deadman, as well as the rest of SmackDown, before moving to ECW. On ECW, he continued his success, defeating any and all Extremists in his path. In 2007, Khali signed onto the Raw brand and took on all comers, including then-WWE Champion John Cena. He would go on to defeat SmackDown's Kane at WrestleMania 23. He would later challenge the WWE Champion John Cena in mid-2007, losing, but putting forth an effort worthy of praise. In the summer of 2007, Khali was drafted to SmackDown and soon after won the vacated World Heavyweight Championship. He would go on to defeat challengers Batista and Kane over the next couple months before losing to Batista at Unforgiven. He would try to take the title back in his signature match: The Punjabi Prison, but once more failed. Although he hasn't won a World title since, he looks to do so again, as The Great Khali made his intentions clear to return to the WWE from India, after recuperating, to become the World Champion once more. When he does, he will return to the Raw brand, having been drafted there in the 2010 Draft.
