Darren Young can be described as a party boy. He brought his wild style to WWE NXT, much to the dismay of WWE Pro CM Punk. Not wanting to follow his Pro, he wanted to find success at his own merit. He placed last in the first Pro's Poll, and immediately pushed himself to improve, including a victory over then-#1 Rookie Daniel Bryan and WWE Superstar Luke Gallows. But at the end of the day, Young just wasn't ready to take on the WWE on his own, and ended up being eliminated.

He would return to the WWE soon after, as a member of The Nexus. The Nexus had one goal: WWE contracts, and domination over the WWE. They would get their contracts, and seemed to have their domination. That is, until SummerSlam. It was at this event that Darren Young submitted in under a minute to formet Nexus partner Daniel Bryan, a submission that was only the beginning of a Nexus defeat at the hands of Team WWE.

On that night, it appeared that Young was a weak link in The Nexus. The next night on Raw, Nexus leader Wade Barrett decreed that all members of the rebel group would face WWE Superstars in one on one matches, and whoever lost their match would be exiled from the group forever. Young bravely aimed for the top, opting to take on John Cena. Despite a strong showing, he lost. In fact, he was the only member of Nexus who lost. With that, he was kicked out of the group and attacked, losing his place in the Rookie faction.

Now alone in the Raw locker room, where will Darren Young go from here?
