It's difficult to really describe Evan Bourne in one word. If it had to be done, then that one word would have to be: exciting. At age 17, Bourne became the first person under the age of 18 licensed to wrestle in Missouri. Citing such influences as Bret Hart, Dean Malenko, Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero, RVD, Tazz, and Sabu, Bourne traveled the world perfecting his craft. Finally, in 2008, Evan Bourne burst onto the ECW brand, bringing with him a mix of Mexican, Japanese, and American training styles of wrestling. THe high-flying technician quickly made a name for himself with his in-ring savvy and his amazing Shooting Star Press, referred to as "The Air Bourne". After a few short months, he was chosen by the WWE Universe to face Matt Hardy for the ECW Championship at Cyber Sunday. Although he lost that match, it was obvious that Evan Bourne belonged on the biggest stages. To this day, he continues to prove this, bringing his high-octane technique to Monday Night Raw. Sooner than later, it will garner him WWE gold.
