CM Punk
From: Chicago, Illinois
Wt: 222 lbs
WWE Debut: July 4th, 2006
Signature Moves: Go To Sleep; Anaconda Vise

Growing up in Chicago, CM Punk made the decision to live the Straight Edge lifestyle as a young child, and it has stuck ever since. Bearing a Muay Thai background, Punk burst onto the ECW scene in 2006, taking on the Extremists old and new. He immediately made an impact in the ECW title picture, competing in the Extreme Elimination Chamber at December to Dismember in 2006. CM Punk, however, would not pick up the Extreme World Title until late-2007 when he defeated John Morrison for the belt on an episode of ECW. 2008 was, without a doubt, a breakthrough year for Punk, as he held the ECW title, won Money in the Bank, the World Heavyweight Championship, World Tag Title, and the Intercontinental Championship. During this time, he was drafted to the Raw brand. In 2009, he would make history again by becoming the first back to back Money in the Bank winner. He would later be drafted to SmackDown. At Extreme Rules, he would become the center of controversy, possibly due only to popularity, by cashing in his Money in the Bank on newly minted World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy after Hardy won the title in a brutal Ladder match. Punk would eventually show his true colors, showing disdain for Hardy and the WWE Universe for their "weaknesses". Punk and Hardy would trade the title back and forth until Punk banished Jeff Hardy from WWE after a cage match on the Friday night after Summerslam. In late 2009, CM Punk would begin bringing people to the "light" of his straight edge lifestyle. His first disciple was Luke Gallows, formerly know to the fans as Festus. He would later bring in fans, and one of them, the anti-Diva Serena, would become an on-screen presence on SmackDown with Punk. Today, Punk leads his Straight Edge Society into the future, looking to slowly convert all the WWE to straight edge.
