Hailing from South Africa, Second-generation competitor Justin Gabriel brought a high-flying extreme style to WWE NXT. That being said, how fitting it was that he was paired with Matt Hardy, as some have described Gabriel as being similar to a young Hardy Boy. With an unlimited amount of energy and a wide array of techniques inside the ring, Justin Gabriel made an impact on NXT. He had a great start early on, pinning Carlito in tag team action to become the first Rookie to ever pin a WWE Pro in NXT. His momentum only continued to lead him to multiple victories. These victories paid dividends for the high-flyer, ranking third overall for the season.

However, despite the decent performance in NXT, Gabriel was left without what he came for: a WWE contract. He decided that he would attain this contract by any means necessary, and with that he joined The Nexus. Since joining, many opponents in the WWE have felt the impact of the 450 Splash en route to defeat, including John Cena. One can safely say that the immediate future looks bright for Gabriel.
