October 18th, 1998: The very first day Christian entered a WWE ring. It was on that day that he defeated TAKA Michinoku for the Light Heavyweight Championship. Since then, Christian has never been far from championship gold. Along with his brother Edge, Christian would win the World Tag Team Championship 7 times. After they split, he would win the tag titles twice more, and he would even go on to defeat his brother for the Intercontinental Championship. Christian would later win the I.C. title two more times as well as the Hardcore Championship before setting his sights on the World Heavyweight Championship in 2005. With Raw and SmackDown switching World Champions via the Draft, Christian pursued WWE Champion John Cena. He would leave WWE in November 2005, having never won the World Title. In early 2009, not only would Christian return, he would capture that sought-after World Title in the form of Jack Swagger's ECW Championship. From April 2009 to February 2010, Christian held onto the ECW Championship taking on all challengers and only losing the title once, just to reclaim it soon after. On the final episode of ECW in February 2010, Christian lost the ECW Championship to the young and powerful Ezekiel Jackson. Christian then signed onto Raw, looking to win the WWE Championship he was looking to win 5 years ago. In the 2010 WWE Draft, he got brought to SmackDown, and immediately made the notion that he wants the World Heavyweight Championship.
