Anyone who would call himself a 'One Man Rock Band' would have to be very confident. Paired with Captain Charisma himself, Christian, Heath Slater looked to turn that confidence into victories on NXT, Slater started off strong, winning almost all of his matches and showing promise as a future star. He even helped his mentor Christian win on NXT. Also, Slater was the first Rookie to pin a WWE Pro in singles action. He later made history once again, defeating former World Champion Chris Jericho in what was quite possibly the greatest upset in NXT history. He seemed to lose a little bit of steam late in the season, however, and it lead to an elimination from NXT right before the finals.
