Superstars Results for 4/1/2010
In the week after WrestleMania, everyone still felt they had something to prove. On WWE Superstars, you can expect everything. Put that together, and you had a formula for an interesting evening of WWE action.
Kofi Kingston & MVP def. Carlito & Zack Ryder
Raw started the show with tag team action. Accompanying Carlito was his NXT Rookie, Michael Tarver. Perhaps frustrated with being ranked 7th on the Pros Poll and wanting to make an impact, he picked a fight with MVP outside the ring. That didn't end well for Michael Tarver, who was laid out by MVP. Meanwhile, in the ring, Kofi Kingston connected with Trouble in Paradise on Zack Ryder for the three count. At this rate, it could be Trouble in Paradise for Michael Tarver on the next NXT Pros Poll, since the last place Rookie will be eliminated.
Yoshi Tatsu def. William Regal
In an international Raw confrontation, Yoshi Tatsu faced off against the nefarious veteran William Regal. In the Wrestlemania pre-show battle royale, Tatsu overcame 25 other Superstars to win. On this night, Japan triumphed over England as Yoshi Tatsu kicked his way to victory over the 2008 King of the Ring to extend his winning streak.
The Hart Dynasty def. Trent Baretta & Caylen Croft via submission
SmackDown closed Superstars the same way Raw opened the show, with tag team action. This time, it was the Hart Dynasty facing the upstarts Trent Baretta and Caylen Croft. The Hart Dynasty picked up the victory with the famed Hart Attack double team manuever followed by Tyson Kidd applying the legendary Sharpshooter to Trent Baretta for the win.
